NBA TV’s Miami Heat-Indiana Pacers telecast Tuesday set a network ratings record, averaging 920,000 viewers, said network officials.
The telecast, a rematch of last year’s NBA Eastern Conference Finals, dunked the previous mark of 868,000 viewers set by the network's Halloween 2012 Los Angeles Lakers-Portland Trailblazers telecast. Last night’s telecast averaged more than one million viewers from 10:15 to 10:30 p.m. ET, according to NBA TV.
This past Sunday (Dec. 8), NBA TV delivered its second most-viewed telecast of the 2013-14 NBA season with the return of Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers facing the Toronto Raptors, which attracted an average of 691,000 total viewers.
