In its first major scheduling move involving recently acquired Bravo, NBC
said the cable network will rerun Kingpin, its gritty new drama, which
has six episodes about a Mexican drug lord bowing during February.
But the Bravo version, due in March, will include "more explicit" scenes cut
from the over-the-air broadcast, NBC Entertainment president Jeff Zucker said
Also in March, another NBC sibling, Telemundo, will run the "Peacock
Network's" version of Kingpin with a Spanish-language track.
In addition, Boomtown -- the Sunday 10 p.m. series pre-empted during
the sweeps month by Kingpin -- will be rerun March 2 in a 12-hour Bravo
marathon, starting at 10 a.m.
Boomtown then resumes its NBC run at 10 p.m. that night, NBC said
