NBC Universal Cable Tuesday promoted Erin Breen to vice president of marketing and Wendy Gross to manager of affiliate sales.
As VP, Breen's responsibilities will include overseeing the affiliate-marketing efforts for USA Network, Universal HD and Sleuth, in addition to NBC HD and the Olympic Games on cable.
Breen, whose prior title was senior director, will oversee campaigns, promotions, material development and trade advertising targeting cable and satellite providers in order to increase the distribution of NBC U Cable's networks.
Most recently, NBC U Cable's The Complete Olympics campaign, spearheaded by Breen, was awarded a Global Marketer Diamond Award for Best Interactive Marketing Campaign and took second place in the CTAM On Demand Case Study Competition.
Breen reports to senior VP of marketing Mark Hotz.
Gross joined NBC U Cable in March 2003 and previously held the position of account executive. As manager of affiliate sales, Gross will continue to oversee sales for all NBC U Cable properties in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri and Iowa.
In addition, Gross will have elevated responsibilities for various MSO corporate accounts including Midcontinent Communications, NewWave Communications and Galaxy Communications.
Gross reports to Bridget Farley, NBC U Cable’s VP of affiliate field sales.
