Add the Big 12 Conference to the fledgling National College Sports Network's
programming roster.

Through a multiyear deal, NCSN has acquired the rights to 19 different men's
and women's conference championships, including the title tilts for golf, track,
soccer, swimming, tennis, baseball and softball. The deal, terms of which were
not disclosed, also covers women's basketball.

NCSN's deal with the Big 12, its 10th conference pact, comes on the cleats of
last week's announcement that affords the network exclusive rights to football
games from a consortium of Division 1-AA schools.

The network -- headed by Brian Bedol and Stephen Greenburg, cofounders of
Classic Sports Network, which was later sold to ESPN, and former Nike Inc.
executive Chris Bevilacqua -- expects to launch sometime in the first quarter of
2003.
