The upstart National College Sports Network announced a major multiyear
programming deal Wednesday with the Big East Conference.
The deal gives NCSN distribution rights to up to 19 different men's and
women's conference championships, as well as the potential for high-profile
regular-season events, although no specific details were revealed.
The conference includes such schools as Boston College, Connecticut,
Georgetown, Miami, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Providence College, Rutgers, St.
John's, Seton Hall, Syracuse, Villanova, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
The deal follows on the heels of the network's Big Ten Conference programming
deal announced two months ago.
NCSN -- headed by former Classic Sports Network founder Brian Bedol -- has
