The National Cable & Telecommunications Association announced two promotions Tuesday.
Eleanor Winter has been elevated to senior vice president, special projects, from VP, special projects. Winter, a 17-year NCTA veteran, will continue to manage the cable industry's political-action committee, CablePAC, and other projects in support of the trade group’s federal-relations activities.
And Wanda Townsend has been promoted to VP, government relations, from senior director, government relations. Townsend, who has been with the NCTA for more than 25 years, will help to manage and coordinate its staff of government-relations executives accountable for representing the association's points of view to Congress.
