Fox Cable Networks Group reached a new long-term agreement with the National Cable Television Cooperative for carriage of FX.
The NCTC is made up of 1,100 independent cable operators representing 6,500 community cable systems, serving primarily suburban and rural areas.
“FX takes great pride in our ongoing partnership with the thousands of smaller community cable systems that comprise the NCTC,” FX president of entertainment John Landgraf said in a prepared statement.
“We recognize the NCTC’s commitment to providing local cable subscribers the very best services television has to offer,” he added. “FX will continue to honor that commitment by improving the quality of its acquired movies and series and more than doubling the output of original series.”
