Netflix Renews ‘Bloodline’ for Third Season

Netflix has renewed its original drama series Bloodline for a third season, the OTT service said Wednesday.

The series, which stars Kyle Chandler, Sissy Spacek, Ben Mendelsohn, Linda Cardellini and Norbert Leo Butz, will return for a 10-episode season in 2017, the company said.

The series, executive produced by Todd Kessler, Daniel Zelman and Glenn Kessler, follows a family of adult siblings whose secrets and scars are revealed when their black-sheep brother returns home.

“Todd, Daniel, and Glenn have created a riveting family saga featuring one of the most talente ensembles in the history of television,” said Cindy Holland, vice president of original content at Netflix. “We can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for the all-too-human Rayburns.”
