The series, based on the acclaimed 2014 film by the same name, continues to follow a group of Winchester University students of color as they navigate a diverse landscape of social injustice, cultural bias, political correctness (or lack thereof) and activism in the millennial age, said Netflix.

Dear White People, from series creator, executive producer, director, writer and co-showrunner Justin Simien, is produced by Lionsgate for Netflix and stars Logan Browning, Brandon P. Bell, Antoinette Robertson, DeRon Horton, John Patrick Amedori, Ashley Blaine Featherson and Marque Richardson.

Yvette Lee Bowser serves as co-showrunner and executive producer for the series, with Stephanie Allain and Julia Lebedev also serving as executive producers.
