Washington, D.C. -- America's Voice and Knowledge TV,
after being added onto Headend in the Sky, are offering cable operators cash launch fees
for digital carriage, officials said last week.
America's Voice said it was expanding its agreement
with the National Cable Television Cooperative. It will offer special digital launch

America's Voice's launch fees will range from
less than $1 to $5, with the lower end for digital and the higher end for analog, said
senior vice president of marketing and sales Joe DelGrosso. Its rate card is 3.5 cents to
10 cents per subscriber per month.
Knowledge TV, in announcing it had won a berth on HITS,
said it was "offering new affiliates one of the most aggressive digital launch
incentive packages on the table." But Knowledge TV officials declined to provide many
specifics about its digital incentive.
"It's marketing support and some cash," a
Knowledge TV spokesman said.
