Jason Kidd was in a lot of people's houses Thursday night.
The series-clinching National Basketball Association playoff win over the
Indiana Pacers netted record local cable ratings for the Jason Kidd-led New
Madison Square Garden Network's coverage of the Nets' 120-109,
double-overtime triumph over Reggie Miller's Pacers averaged a 4.63 household
rating (338,043 households) in the New York DMA.
That performance was the highest for any Nets game carried either on MSGN or
on primary carrier Fox Sports New York.
Ratings peaked at an 8.17 for the regional sports service during the
contest's final 15 minutes, from 10 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.
