The porn distributor's subscription/pay-per-view TV group reported $7 million
in revenue, flat with the same period last year. Cable and direct-broadcast
satellite PPV revenue jumped 11 percent to $5 million, while C-band revenue fell
20 percent to $2 million.
New Frontier reported a $5.6 million (27 cents per share) net loss for the
quarter, compared with net income of $200,000 (1 cent) this time last year.
Also Wednesday, New Frontier said it cut a deal with On Command Corp. to
offer a broadband version of its Ten.com Internet product to On Command's hotel customers.
