New Indoors for Outdoor Channel

The Outdoor Channel formally opened its new state-of-the-art broadcast center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony last Friday.

The new, 39,000-square-foot facility -- designed by Los Angeles-based architecture firm Studio 440 -- features a master control, tape-ops, central equipment room, tech shop, digital edit bays, conference room and fully-networked offices “in a distinctive open design that brings the feeling of the outside indoors,” the network said.

TOC will also be able to bring its satellite uplink in-house at the Temecula, Calif., facility due to its new 24-foot satellite dish.
