National Geographic Channel has come up with one of its first programming
stunts -- 'Halloween Week 2002.'
Each night at 8 p.m. from Oct. 28 through Nov. 1, 'creature-adventurers'
Chris and Martin Kratt, who are brothers, will host 'Kratts On: Halloween,'
leading into Halloween-themed specials.
Among the shows scheduled at 8 p.m. that week are Infested, Haunted
Forest, The Body Snatchers (a documentary on parasites), Pests and
Parasites and Webs of Intrigue.
At 9 p.m., specials will include Taboo: Witchcraft Oct. 28 and The
Mummy Road Show with back-to-back installments on 'Mummies from a Turkish
Tomb' and 'Muchas Mummies' Oct. 31.
