Nickelodeon will provide multi-media support for Nov. 27 premiere of a one-hour special based on its popular Victorious series.
The one-hour special, Freak the Freak Out, will feature the cast of Nick's popular Victorious series as they try to expose a rigged local karaoke competition, said network executives.
Immediately after the show, Nickelodeon will present 7 Secrets: Victoria Justice, a 30-minute special that takes a behind the scenes look at the series' lead actress, said the network.
On the multi-media front, Nick will make available for sale on iTunes two songs from the special four days prior to its Nickelodeon debut. The premiere of the special will be simulcast on Nick Mobile, while clips from the show -- as well as behind-the-scenes content and the show's music video -- will be available for streaming on Nick.com and through Nick's wireless phone partners.
Freak The Freak Out will also be made available for download in high-definition on iTunes, Amazon, Sony and Xbox after its Nick debut. Additionally, Freak the Freak Out will be supported on Facebook through a partnership with the Mall World social gaming application. Mall World users will be able to visit a Victorious boutique and outfit their avatars with exclusive Victorious-themed items, said the network.
"Freak the Freak Out is a great showcase for the super talented girls of Victorious," said Marjorie Cohn, Nickelodeon's President, Development and Original Programming in a statement. "Not only are they gifted comedic actresses, but they really bring it to a musical performance."
