Nickelodeon has promoted Kevin Weist to vice president of Nickelodeon’s Daypart Productions from executive producer of that unit.
In his new role, Weist will oversee the continued development and creative execution of Nickelodeon's daypart packaging, which includes the network's ‘Sliming" segments.
He will continue to oversee daily operation of the shows he helped to develop and launch, including U-Pick Live
, SlimeTime Live
, TEENick
and the brand-new interactive "Play Along" packaging elements for Nick Jr. He will also oversee "Nick Video Picks," the Kids' Choice Awards
and its preshow interstitials.
Weist will continue to executive-produce a variety of specials throughout the year.
