Nick Opens Its Toy Chest

Nickelodeon will debut “an array of quality toys and games” Tuesday at the TIA & Toy Wishes Holiday Preview at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York.

Among products to be introduced by Nick are playthings based on series SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, Blue's Clues, Rugrats and The Fairly OddParents; on upcoming movies The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie and Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events; Nickelodeon’s “Tak” video game; and other Nick-branded product.

“Kids adore the friends they've made on Nickelodeon, and our newest products not only enable them to live out the on-air adventures of our characters at home, but they also give kids friends they can relate to on all levels," Nickelodeon executive vice president of consumer products Leigh Anne Brodsky said in a prepared statement.

"Nickelodeon characters have resonated with kids of all ages and across many different media platforms, from movies and TV to books and video games,” she added.
