Cablevision Systems Corp. launched its iO: Interactive Optimum digital
package to 148,000 Morristown, N.J., subscribers, marking the platform's first
rollout beyond Long Island, N.Y.
The digital package -- which includes on-demand content -- is now in front of
about 700,000 subscribers.
Cablevision hasn't updated iO's total subscriber count since Dec. 31, when it
reported just 17,200 iO households. The MSO said the package will be available
to 2 million subscribers by the end of the year.
