No Bull at Rainbow Unit

It's bulls and balls for Rainbow Network Communications.

The Rainbow Media Group subsidiary has been selected by Sunrise
Teleproductions Inc. to supply transmission facilities for 21 Professional Bull
Riders events that will appear on Outdoor Life Network.

The PBR shows -- which began in January and will run through November -- are
produced by Trans World International, the TV arm of sports-management giant
International Management Group.

Elsewhere, RNC is also headed to spring training. In Florida, its mobile
Ku-band truck will facilitate transmission of 18 Grapefruit League contests for
client GlobeCast America Inc.

Major League Baseball preseason games involving the New York Mets, Boston Red
Sox, Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds will be among
those transmitted through the end of March.

RNC -- which provides live transmission of more than 1,700 live professional
sporting events each year -- also offers such services as network-program
origination; satellite-transponder compression; uplinking and downlinking;
studio production; satellite encryption; digital linear and nonlinear editing;
fiber distribution; data delivery; and affiliate engineering.

The unit has a 62,000-square-foot technology facility located in Bethpage,
N.Y., which serves as the command center for all of Rainbow's networks and
third-party clients.
