No Debate About ESPN Deportes Series

ESPN Deportes said Wednesday that it has launched Cronometro (Stopwatch), a sports-news, information and debate show devoted to headline issues surrounding Latino sports stars.

ESPN Deportes commentator Luis Alfredo Alvarez hosts Cronometro, and panelists include ESPN veterans Andres Agulla, Jose Hernandez, Ernesto Jerez and Alvaro Martin.

The series airs Sundays at 11 a.m. (EST).

"Cronometro was modeled after ESPN's critically acclaimed programs like Pardon the Interruption and Sports Reporters," ESPN Deportes general manager Lino Garcia said in a prepared statement. "The program will be unpredictable, topical and full of hard-hitting opinions, and we are sure that it will become a Sunday-morning must-see program for Latino sports fans."
