USA Network and Disney Channel remained on an extended hot streak as the summer ratings campaign draws to an end.

USA Network averaged 2.6 million viewers during the week of Aug. 12 to Aug. 18 to win its fourth consecutive weekly primetime ratings crown with one week left in the summer ratings race, according to Nielsen.

Disney Channel finished second with 2.4 million viewers, followed by A&E’s 2.1 million watchers, History’s 2 million viewers and TNT’s 1.9 million viewers.

The remaining top 10 networks include TBS (1.7 million viewers); Fox News (1.5 million); ESPN and AMC (tied with 1.4 million); and HGTV (1.2 million).

Disney Channel barely topped Nickelodeon on a 24-hour basis for its fifth consecutive weekly win, according to Nielsen.

A&E, on the strength of a record-setting performance from the fourth season debut of reality series Duck Dynasty (pictured), captured the top spot among the adult 25-54 demo, while TBS finished first among adults 18 to 49 and Adult Swim was most watched among adults 18-34, according to Nielsen.
