Northland Cable Television said Tuesday that it has launched its “Northland VoiceLine, Powered by Net2Phone” digital-phone service.
The operator has systems in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, Washington, California and Idaho.
The Net2Phone Inc.-powered service offers plans starting at $18.99 per month, with an all-inclusive monthly package for $37.99 delivering unlimited calls within the United States and Canada.
“Northland is very excited to offer our customers a competitively priced, full-featured telephony service," senior vice president of technical services Jack Dyste said in a prepared statement.
“Our commitment to personal customer service, combined with the flexibility and reliability of Net2Phone's VoIP [voice over Internet protocol], bring our markets the first truly competitive broadband-telephony offering providing local customer service and support,” he added.
