The History Channel’s Lost Book of Nostradamus was a hit this past Sunday, the top show in all of cable that night, officials said Tuesday.
The two-hour special on the famed seer drew 3.5 million total viewers, 1.9 million adults 25 to 54 and 1.8 million adults 18 to 49. Lost Book also gave The History Channel its best performance ever for an original special.
Additionally, with the help of the lead-in, a repeat run of Nostradamus: 500 Years Later, The History Channel delivered 3.2 million total viewers, 1.7 million adults 25 to 54 and 1.6 million adults 18 to 49.
The Lost Book of Nostradamus mini-site boosted History.com to its second highest trafficked day of the year on Sunday. Traffic on the mini-site peaked during the 9 p.m. hour where prophesies, images from the lost book and exclusive online video could be seen.
