NEW YORK — NYC Television Week, a newly created three-day event presented by Multichannel News and Broadcasting & Cable, will give television- industry pros unique access to some of the industry’s heaviest hitters touching on the hottest topics in the business, including TV Everywhere, social media trends and new technology.
The event, slated for Oct. 28-30 in New York, will include panel discussions on advertising, programming, production and more, as well as keynote addresses from the biggest names in the distribution, content and technology business.
Washington bureau chief John Eggerton kicks off the conference on Oct. 28 with what figures to be a lively discussion with National Cable & Telecommunications Association CEO Michael Powell and National Association of Broadcasters CEO Gordon Smith.
More top talk will follow from big distributors (DirecTV chairman and CEO Mike White); key content providers (AMC Networks chief operating officer Ed Carroll and NBA commissioner David Stern); leading technologists (Twitter chief media scientist Deb Roy); and powerful advertising companies (Group M chairman Irwin Gotlieb).
