Odyssey will premiere four original series in the fourth quarter. America and The Extraordinary World of H.G. Wells will be produced by Hallmark Entertainment, one of the network's investors. The other two series are Tomie: A Storyteller's Story and Sunday Dinner.

America is a weekly, half-hour show on the lives of special Americans, such as the Zambellis, the first family of fireworks. In Sunday Dinner, viewers are invited into the homes of celebrities for family dinners. Both series debut Oct. 8.

Tomie is a half-hour show for kids and parents hosted by best-selling author Tomie dePaola. And The Extraordinary World of H.G. Wells, premiering sometime this fall, is based on the author's collection of short stories.

Odyssey will also debut three original movies this fall: the two-part Hamlet with Blair Brown; Hound of the Baskervilles with Matt Frewer; and The Prince and the Pauper.
