Odyssey Network is the latest cable network to set out in pursuit of not only
marketing partnerships, but also programming partnerships with advertisers.
The network announced Tuesday that it hired Andrea Kolb as director of
strategic partnerships and advertising sales. She had been account manager for
Kolb will, for one thing, work with advertiser members of the Family Friendly
Programming Forum, an offshoot of the Association of National Advertisers
Earlier this month, Fox Family Channel said it, too, had begun seeking
alliances with advertisers, adding that it had mailed pitch letters to the 44
members of the Forum just before Christmas.
