The America Channel became the latest programmer to join Optical Entertainment Network’s lineup.
TAC will join OEN’s “Fision” service, which will bring digital Internet-protocol-video, telephony and Internet service to 1.6 million homes passed in Houston over an existing fiber network covering most of the city.
OEN announced a carriage deal with men’s-targeted network MavTV Thursday. And TAC already has deals in place with other IPTV providers, including Verizon Communications Inc.’s Verizon FiOS TV.
TAC described itself as a network that will “explore and celebrate America, its communities, real heroes and ordinary people who accomplish the extraordinary.”
