WealthTV said Friday that it has signed a long-term carriage deal with Optical Entertainment Network.
Through OEN’s partnership with Houston-based Phonoscope, its “Fision” service will bring digital-Internet-protocol-video, telephony and Internet service to 1.6 million homes passed in Houston over an existing fiber network covering most of the city. Fision is set to launch within the next 60 days, OEN said.
Lifestyle and entertainment network WealthTV will be carried in digital and HD.
“Luxury fever is sweeping across America, and WealthTV allows every television viewer to enjoy the finer things in life simply by watching their television,” OEN vice president of programming Jo-lynn Foo said in a prepared statement.
