OLN Outs Four New Shows

Outdoor Life Network Friday announced four new shows to premiere throughout
the rest of the year.

Beach Ambush, premiering Sunday, June 7 at 9:30 p.m., will feature
America's best beaches as comedian and host Don Jamieson "ambushes" six
unsuspecting beachgoers and challenges them in various adventures in a reality
format.

Mysterious Encounters is scheduled to debut in August. It will bring
viewers the outdoor adventures of ordinary people and explorers who come into
contact with unexplained species.

Leading experts in the fields of forensics, anatomy, behavioral science,
biology and primatology will examine evidence using high-tech equipment, such as
night vision and sensors, to determine whether each creature actually
exists.

Surfer Girls, also premiering during the fall, will follow a group of 10
girls through an intensive two-week surf camp in Costa Rica.

Coached by top surfing professionals, the girls will be given the chance to
hone their craft while visiting the country's top surf spots. As the camp draws
to a close, they will participate in a surf contest that will provide the winner
with a cash prize and professional sponsorship.

Also debuting later in the year is Ultimate Scavenger Hunt, where
three teams of four strangers will embark on a scavenger hunt that will take
them through three states in 72 hours.

Armed with a laptop computer, some cash, a global-positioning system and a
video camera, the competitors will have to navigate and perform physical tasks
that would challenge the toughest outdoor enthusiast.

"As the leader in adventure programming, we are committed to providing our
viewers the newest in cutting-edge and entertaining outdoor programs," president
and CEO E. Roger Williams said in a release.
