Soccer-centric Gol TV will kick off a new weekly series presenting the best goals and saves, plus bloopers, from around the world of futbol.
Oh My Gol bows on July 20 at 7:30 p.m. (ET), with the network's soccer analysts Ray Hudson and Omar Fuentes providing the commentary.
Each week, Oh My Gol! will features a top five countdown of the week's greatest highlights and the most hilarious mistakes caught on tape. The new show will also take viewers around the globe for a glimpse at how the world's most zany and diehard soccer fans cheer on their favorite clubs and teams.
"Insight when delivered with a twist of side-splitting humor will have our viewers saying, ‘Oh my Gol!,'" said Constantino Voulgaris, executive vice president of programming at GolTV in a statement. "It's a great show for the whole family to watch together, because it adds an element of comedy along with the best and the worst moments in fútbol. Best of all it debuts on the heels of World Cup, and we just don't think any soccer fan's cup has been filled."
The hybrid soccer programmer, which offers feeds in both English and Spanish,is scheduled to debut a high-definition version of the service on Aug.1, which will roll out on DirecTV.
