One World Sports is putting the finishing touches on its new high-definition production facility as part of relaunch of the service next month.
The international sports proponent, which is introducing a global sports ticker and will showcase new on-air branding and graphics come Aug. 3, will open the One World Sports Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn.
The network, which counts Dish Network, Cablevision and Mediacom as affiliates, will utilize Encompass’ Stamford and Singapore facilities. In Connecticut, Encompass will provide full-time master control, uplink, satellite space segment, production and post-production. The location will also house offices for production, operations and promotion staff. Encompass Singapore will provide content acquisition services delivered to Stamford via fiber connectivity.
