One World Sports Punches Up Boxing Deal

One World Sports will enter the boxing ring through a multi-year deal with boxing promotion company GH3 Promotions, the network said Thursday.

The first show as part of the deal will air on One World Sports Nov. 12 with a main event bout featuring super bantamweight champion Adam Lopez, according to the network. 

"One World Sports is excited to debut live boxing on the network with a multi-year agreement with GH3 Promotions that will highlight both current and aspiring boxers on a national platform," said Todd Myers, Vice President, Programming, Acquisitions & Development for One World Sports. "One World Sports continues to broaden its distribution with new affiliations like DirecTV & AT&T U-verse and evolving its programming with more domestic based properties and marquee sporting events from around the world."
