OpenTV Corp. and ACTV Inc. said ACTV's interactive-TV technology has been
integrated into OpenTV's interactive-TV platform.
OpenTV's middleware is expected to include support for 'SpotOn,' the targeted
advertising solution that is jointly marketed by ACTV, OpenTV and Motorola Inc.
through ACTV's Digital ADCO subsidiary; 'One to One TV,' ACTV's individualized
programming technology; and 'HyperTV,' ACTV's system for synchronizing
television programming with online content.
The initial integration effort is on Pace Micro Technology plc set-tops, with
other boxes to follow in coming months, the companies said.
