Oprah Winfrey will be doing a daily primetime show for Oxygen starting this
fall, officials said Tuesday.
Oprah After the Show -- an unscripted program that will be taped each day
after Winfrey's syndicated The Oprah Winfrey Show --debuts Sept.
16 on Oxygen.
The half-hour series will air at 7:30 p.m. weeknights, with replays at 10
p.m., 11:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. the next day.
For the new series, Winfrey -- one of Oxygen's financial backers -- will be
depicted taking questions from her daytime show's studio audience.
Oxygen will air 145 episodes of Oprah After the Show this season. It
will be produced by Winfrey's company, Harpo Productions, and be taped at Harpo
Studios in Chicago.
