Temecula, Calif. -- The Outdoor Channel has signed an
affiliation agreement with Time Warner Cable for both digital and analog carriage,
according to officials.
Outdoor Channel president Andy Dale said his network now
reaches 2.3 million cable subscribers, adding that there was no specific rollout schedule
with Time Warner.
Time Warner's systems can't carry a programming
service unless the MSO has a corporate-affiliation deal with that network, which had
prevented some systems from distributing Outdoor Channel, Dale said. Outdoor
Channel's rival, Outdoor Life Network, doesn't have a deal with Time Warner yet.
