Outdoor Channel has hit the target as the official cable network of the Archery Trade Association's show for the second straight year.
The network will produce ATA TV at the archery and bowhunting event at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis from Jan. 6-8.
Hosted by archery notables Mark and Terry Drury, along with Ralph and Vicki Cianciarulo, ATA TV features daily updates from the floor of the 2011 ATA Trade Show, public service announcements that describe the ATA's mission, program interviews with personalities in the archery world and segments from Outdoor Channel's archery shows.
As the official cable network of the trade show, ATA TV is set to broadcast on plasma screens throughout the convention center and in nine surrounding hotels to more than 2,000 hotel rooms at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Indianapolis, Fairfield Inn & Suites Indianapolis, Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites, Hyatt Regency Indianapolis, Marriott Indianapolis Downtown, Courtyard Indianapolis Downtown, Omni Severin Hotel, SpringHill Suites Indianapolis Downtown and The Westin Indianapolis.
"We're looking forward to working with Outdoor Channel for the second time in as many years," said Jay McAninch, ATA CEO and president in a statement. "It was advantageous for us both to build on what was started last year. Through this trade show, every dealer, buyer and manufacturer helps support the ATA's work with schools, municipalities and state agencies; as well as organizations and individual archers to grow archery and bowhunting. Outdoor Channel is yet another player in this effort as they advance our goals through delivering the industry's messages in a way that will capture our audience."
Noted Outdoor senior vice president of marketing and research: "Our ATA TV partnership with the Archery Trade Association is yet another example of why Outdoor Channel is recognized as the leading entertainment company in the outdoor category. Outdoor Channel is committed to producing informative and entertaining archery and bowhunting content and has the ability to deliver these messages in a way that will inform and captivate attendees. The ATA is a strong partner, and we're honored to work with them once again."
