Outside Television Orders Adventure Series Pair

Outside Television has commissioned a pair of series from two of the leaders in adventure entertainment.
The network has ordered 13 episodes of Season Pass from Warren Miller Entertainment and 10 installments of Jeremy Jones' Deeper from the legendary snowboarder and Teton Gravity Research. Both of the series are now in production and are expected to premiere on Outside Television later this year.
Narrated by Olympic gold medalist Jonny Moseley, Season Pass will provide viewers with a special adventure and be themed around a specific topic, including the evolution of skiing and the thrill of epic journeys to find the best places to ski.
Jeremy Jones' Deeper is a collaboration between Jones, one of the most influential snowboarders in the world, and action sports specialist, Teton Gravity Research. The series will take viewers on an all-encompassing journey through untouched snowboard meccas, showcasing some of the greatest snowboarding adventures on the planet, including the Wasatch, the High Sierra and the wilderness of Alaska.

"We are excited to be partnered with both Warren Miller Entertainment and Teton Gravity Research on these new series. This is just the first step in expanding our presence in the adventure programming space," said Rob Faris, senior vice president of programming and production, Outside Television, in announcing the pick-ups. "We will continue to be aggressive in 2012 in finding new series that fit the Outside brand and our new national audience."
