Outside Television Relocates Studio To New York City

Looking to expand its production capabilities, Outside Television is relocating its studio to Manhattan.
The new studio, EUE Screen Gems Studios located in Midtown Manhattan, is a state-of-the-art facility that will fulfill the network's production needs. The move offers the active lifestyle service greater accessibility to industry advertisers, while enabling it to showcase its programming efforts.
"This was a natural next step in the growth of the network," said Rob Faris, senior vice president of programming and production of Outside Television, in a statement. "The New York metro area offers unmatched resources and a tremendous talent pool. It will suit our programming needs and more."

The network will produce its morning show Outside Today in Manhattan. Co-hosted by New York City resident and the winner of CBS's Survivor: Africa Ethan Zohn and Julia Dimon, who has traveled around the world four times, Outside Today showcases adventure-lifestyle, with features and the latest news about sports specialty gear. Among its more popular segments are "Weekend Escapes," "Best Places to Work," "Summer Gear" and "Health & Fitness," as well as interviews with such outside-lifestyle celebrities as Jack Johnson, Kelly Slater and Gretchen Bleiler.
Plans call seven one-hour episode of Outside Today to be produced in HD at Outside Television's Manhattan studio.
