Oxygen to Air Skating Show

Oxygen said Monday that it will air the 2003 World Team Figure Skating Challenge Dec. 13 and 14 in primetime.

The four-hour event will feature U.S., Canadian, Russian and European skaters competing head-to-head in men’s, ladies’ and pairs’ competitions, including 2002 Olympic Gold medalists Jamie Sale and David Pelletier (Canada) and Elena Berezhnaya and Anton Silkharulidze (Russia), network officials said.

This telecast marks the first of Oxygen’s three-year deal with sports-marketing and production company IMG/TWI, although it is unclear what other projects are planned under the deal.
