This summer, Oxygen will launch two new branded on-demand networks: a karaoke offering and one about parenting.
Video-on-demand services Air Karaoke and Oh! Baby will be rolled out by Time Warner Cable in June and by Comcast Corp. later this year.
Both networks expect to each be in 10 million homes by the end of the year.
“This is the best way for us to launch new brands,” Oxygen Media chairman and CEO Geraldine Laybourne said. Both aim at different parts of Oxygen’s target audience: women ages 18 to 49.
