Recent launches by Comcast and Cox Communications propelled Oxygen to the 68 million-subscriber mark.
Comcast added the women’s-targeted network to its digital tiers in Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, Ind., and its expanded-basictier in Treasure Coast, Fla.
And Cox will add Oxygen throughout its Greater Louisiana region Aug. 15.
Oxygen added that it will launch on several National Cable Telecommunications Cooperative systems from Aug. 1 through mid-September, including First Commonwealth Cablevision, Wave BB, Prairie Wave of Black Hills, GCI and Trinidad.
“Our enormous growth this year is getting Oxygen ever closer to full distribution, which is an extraordinary achievement for any upstart network, but especially an independent one,” president and chief operating officer Lisa Gersh said in a prepared statement.
