Oxygen Media has given the thumbs up for a second season of dating series Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too.
The show's rookie season was the network's tops for a newcomer among women 18 to 34.
From Bunim-Murray Productions, the show is spin-off of Oxygen's reality series Bad Girls Club. The dating competition series pits former "Bad Girls" vying for the man of their dreams. Each week, the women have a group of bachelors competing for their attention in a series of challenges and entertaining group dates.
"Love Games became a hit for the network and we're excited to continue to offer programming that resonates with our audience," said Amy Introcaso-Davis, senior vice president, original programming and development, in announcing the renewal. "The search for love is a rite of passage for our viewers and a Bad Girl's search for love is pure entertainment."
The first season of Love Games, which aired from March 16 through May 5, featured Bad Girls' Amber (season three), Kendra (season four) and Sarah (season three).
The series averaged 331,000 women 18-to-34 watchers, with the first and second telecasts averaging more than 1.5 million viewers. The second installment on March 23 pulled in some 1.06 million persons 18 to 49, according to Oxygen officials.
