Pace Micro Technology plc will debut its digital-video recorder based on Cable Television Laboratories Inc.’s OpenCable Applications Platform DVR Spec 0C-SP-OCAP-I02 at the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers’ Cable-Tec Expo in Denver June 21-23.
The vendor said the OCAP DVR specification will be used in all current and future OCAP DVR set-tops, starting with its flagship dual-tuner, HD “Tahoe TDC775 HD-DVR.”
Pace teamed up with Alticast Corp. and integrated its “AltiCaptor OCAP 1.0” OCAP-middleware solution into its cable set-top product line.
