The Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing said Monday that entries for the "Mark Awards," recognizing effective marketing in cable, will be accepted until 6 p.m. Feb. 24.
The first deadline for Mark Award entries is Feb. 10, but entries can be submitted until Feb. 24 by paying a $50 late fee, CTAM said. Multichannel News co-sponsors the awards.

Also Monday, the National Cable & Telecommunications Association requested nominations for the "2004 Vanguard Awards," honoring individual excellence in the cable business.
One man and one woman will each be awarded a "Distinguished Vanguard Award for Leadership." Other Vanguard Awards are "Young Leadership," "Programmers," "Associates and Affiliates," "Science and Technology," "Cable Operations Management," "Government and Community Relations" and "Marketing."
Nominations are due Feb. 27.
