Golf Channel Tuesday announced that it has promoted Shannon O’Neill to general manager of the network’s new media group and elevated Jeff Foster to the title of senior vice president of new media sales.
In his new role, O’Neill (left) will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all new media operations including product, content, marketing, strategy and technology. He previously served as senior vice president of new media and business development and joined Golf Channel in 2007 after working as vice president of Comcast’s emerging network group where he was responsible for developing and launching new cable networks.
Foster will be responsible for driving revenue across all business units in the new media division. He will also manage the network’s new tee time business, Golf Channel Amateur Tour operations, digital sales and an emerging travel business.
The network also announced that Bill Keating has joined Golf Channel as its vice president of digital sales. He will be responsible for driving digital sales revenue and partnerships across the two primary categories of the network’s endemic and non-endemic advertisers.
