Sean Hannity’s two-part interview with Alaska Governor Sarah Palin scored well for Fox News Channel this week

With the first part of the interview Sept. 17, Hannity & Colmes averaged 4.92 million viewers in the 9 p.m. hour, according to Nielsen Media Research data. That performance was the show’s second best of 2008, trailing only its coverage of Palin’s address at the Republican National Convention on Sept. 3, which drew 4.95 million watchers on average. The Wednesday night show delivered 1.39 million adults 25 to 54, its third best mark for the year with the news demo.

The second-part of the interview with GOP vice presidential hopeful attracted 4.59 million Thursday night, the fifth-highest-average for Hannity & Colmes this year. Included in that total were 1.19 million adults 25 to 54.
