Patty McCaskill Joins Layer3 TV’s Content Advisory Board

Patty McCaskill, an industry vet most recently with Suddenlink Communications, has joined the content advisory board of Layer3 TV, the Denver-based next-gen cable operator.

McCaskill was formerly the SVP and chief programming officer at Suddenlink Communications, the MSO acquired by Altice in December 2015. Altice is reportedly one of Layer3 TV’s investors.

McCaskill, named to the Multichannel News Wonder Woman class of 2009, also served as VP of programming and pay-per-view for Charter Communications, and is a recipient of the industry’s Vanguard award for Distinguished Leadership and is a member of the Cable TV Pioneers.

McCaskill joins a content advisory board that includes Brian Brady, John Hane, Preston Padden, Michael Regan, Sean Riley, Jeff Sherwin, Dave Shull, and D.A. Wallach.

Layer3 TV has launched service in parts of in Los Angeles, in Longmont, Colo. (through a partnership with municipal provider NextLight), and in the Washington, D.C., and Chicago metro arears.
