Discovery Communications has named Keith Kazerman as head of advertising sales product strategy and development. He comes from satellite-TV provider DirecTV, where he was senior VP, national advertising sales.

ECLIPSE

Sara Timmins has joined Eclipse Marketing Services in Cedar Knolls, N.J., as director of strategic partnerships. She comes from cable network RLTV in Baltimore, where she was director of distribution.

FX NETWORKS

FX Networks promoted a trio of progamming executives: Gina Balian advanced to executive vice president, limited series; Nicole Clemens was upped to executive vice president, series development; and Jonathan Frank was elevated to executive vice president, current series. All three had served as senior VP.

HRTS

The Hollywood Radio and Television Society has named its new directors to terms through 2017: Eric Schrier, president of original programming at FX Networks and FX Productions, as president; Marc Korman, partner and agent, WME Entertainment, as vice president; Christina Davis, executive VP, drama series development, CBS Entertainment, as secretary; and David Acosta, senior VP and team leader, Entertainment Division, City National Bank, as treasurer.

SEACHANGE

Martha Restrepo has joined SeaChange International in Acton, Mass., as vice president of human resources. She comes from Monster Worldwide, where she was senior director of HR.

SCTE

Chris Bastian has joined the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers as senior vice president and chief technical officer. He comes from Comcast, where he was executive director, focused on the MSO’s Xfinity WiFi network.

THOMSON

Stephan Richard has joined Thomson Video Networks as San Francisco-based vice president of strategy and business development. He comes from EchoStar-owned Sling Media, where he was director of product management.

UNIVISION

Isaac Lee was named to the new post of chief news and digital officer at Univision Communications, adding responsibility for multicultural and music programming and maintaining oversight of the news and digital division. He will remain as CEO of Univision’s Fusion joint-venture cable network with ABC News.
