New York-based media and entertainment-focused advanced data and analytics company 605 has named Charlstie Veith as senior vice president of marketing communications; she will also manage communications for 605 backer Dolan Family Ventures. She had been VP, media relations at Cablevision Systems.

ADULT SWIM

Chris Hartley was promoted to vice president, on-air production at Adult Swim, based in Atlanta. She was a full-time producer at Cartoon Network, managing show launches such as Star Wars: The Clone Wars as well as program production.

Also, Ollie Green advanced to vice president of animated production, also based in Atlanta. She joined the network in 2005 as a line producer.

AMC

Yoel Flohr has joined AMC, SundanceTV and AMC Studios as senior vice president, franchise development, based in New York. He most recently was cofounder of Thirty Labs Inc., a New York-based startup focused on the digital video space.

BETTY

Production studio betty has tapped Helen Hawken as director of programs, effective at the beginning of March. She comes from Discovery Networks International, where she was VP, production and development, factual.

BLEACHER REPORT

Turner Sports unit Bleacher Report has added Lisel Welden as vice president of marketing. She comes from car-hailing app Lyft, where she also served as VP, marketing.

COX

Sujata Gosalia has joined Cox Communications in Atlanta as executive vice president, chief strategy officer, effective Jan. 2. She comes from business-to-business services company Sodexo, where she was senior VP of strategy.

IMAGINE

Dallas-based Imagine Communications has tapped Peter Riordan to lead the newly launched Imagine Communications Labs. He joins the technology firm from Encompass Digital Media.

Also, Sarah Foss was upped to chief product officer of the company’s Advertising Management Solutions (AMS) portfolio; Chris Sjerven advanced to vice president of operations; and Leonardo Emilo Gañan was tapped to lead the company’s CALA sales region.

New York-based video personalization firm IRIS.TV has named both Ashley King and Christian De Gennaro as vice president of sales. King comes from AndBeyond.Media, where she was VP of busines development. De Genarro had been enterprise sales director at Verve Mobile.

Cindy Brown was promoted to Knoxville, Tenn.-based senior vice president, program planning and scheduling at Scripps Networks Interactive, responsible for HGTV, DIY Network and Great American Country. She had been VP, program planning and scheduling, since 2013.

Sarah Ripmaster has joined The Weather Co. as vice president of automotive sales. She most recently served as a consultant to Annalect, an Omnicom Media Group unit that provides solutions to help marketers make data actionable.

Z LIVING

Karen Bressner has been named senior vice president of ad sales and partnerships at Z Living, based in New York and responsible for leading the network’s East Coast sales group. She comes from AccuWeather Digital Media, where she was head of advertising sales.
