Spanish-language network Azteca America has tapped Angelina Losada as vice president of its Los Angeles National Spot Office. She had served on national sales teams for Telemundo based in San Francisco; Miami-Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and Los Angeles.

Marcien Jenckes advanced to president, advertising, at Comcast Cable, responsible for all advertising asssets and businesses including Comcast Spotlight. He most recently was executive VP, consumer services, at the MSO.

Josh Line has joined Comedy Central as executive vice president, marketing and creative, based in New York. He comes from parent Viacom’s corporate team, where he was senior VP, marketing strategy, trends and insights.

Cox Communications in Atlanta has elevated Len Barlik to executive vice president and chief operating officer. He had been chief human resources officer at the MSO.

CNBC
CNBC has named Ted Kemp to its international team as a digital managing editor of CNBC EMEA and CNBC Asia Pacific’s digital content, based in Singapore.

DISCOVERY
Jamie McFarland has upped Discovery Communications to New York-based vice president of digital distribution. She had been senior director, digital media distribution, where she helped to launch the company’s portfolio of TV everywhere apps.
Also, Lara Richardson was elevated to Los Angeles-based group vice president of marketing for Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and Science Channel. She had been VP, creative at TLC.

ENTERTAINMENT STUDIOS
Bob Boden has joined Entertainment Studios in Los Angeles as executive vice president of production and development. He most recently served as executive producer of GSN game show The Chase.

21ST CENTURY FOX
James Gillespie has joined 21st Century Fox as a vice president in the media company’s global public affairs and policy group. He comes from the National Association of Broadcasters, where he was VP of government relations.

Dani Martin has joined personalized video recommendation engine IRIS.TV in New York as vice president of sales. She comes from Pandora Media, where she was senior director, agency and advertiser development (Interpublic Group lead).

Jessica Winchell Morsa has joined New York-based Lucky 8 as vice president of content development. She comes from MSNBC, where she was executive producer of originals.

Jake Haelen has joined production company Turn Card Content as head of development. He comes from Food Network and Cooking Channel, where he was executive in charge of production.

Atlanta-based automated television advertising company Videa has added Oscar Rondon as vice president of product. He comes from TubeMogul, where he was senior director of TV strategy at the programmatic ad firm.

Marvin Renaud has joined The Weather Channel parent company Weather Group in Atlanta as vice president, product. He comes from CNN, where he had served as senior director, product management, leading CNN Digital’s product strategy and product roadmap development.
